INTRODUCTION TO
GPSGAMES.ORG II EVENT
(GEITNER-ROTARY PARK IN HICKORY, NC)
This is the second in a series of event geocaches to introduce the local geocachers to GPSgames.org! The first at Southside Park in Newton, NC was a success. This series will take you to several of the parks in Catawba County.
The second installment to the series will be at Geitner-Rotary park in Hickory, NC. There are several geocaches in the area, so load-up your GPSr and find them!
You may have been geocaching on the "other" site for a while. You have found many caches, but you will eventually ask yourself, "What else can I do with this GPSr?" Luckily, there is more, much more, you can do using your GPSr.
This event is the second in Catawba County to introduce you to the other games available on GPSGames.org. GPSGames.org offers traditional geocaching, but offers you many more games to keep you entertained.
The "Introduction To GPSgames II" event will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Geitner-Rotary park in Hickory, NC. Enter the coordinates for this event into your GPSr and follow them to the gazebo shown below:
Once we assemble at the gazebo, we will start the event. Iced can drinks and bottled water will be provided. Two new GPSGames.org exclusive geocaches will be hidden in the park in time for this event and several others are available. Cache details will be provided if you didn't get the coordinates before coming to the event.

If you are new to geocaching and don't have a GPS receiver, I will have a couple extra that I will bring with the coordinates pre-loaded.
