Description:
Located in Amherst's Dann Rd. Park. Park is closed from 10p to 6a,
please do not cache during those hours. Cache is a .30 cal ammo
can. Best parking area is by Dann Rd's 1st cache.
This cache has been placed in memory of NYGO cacher Steve
from The Lyndon Road Gang who passed away on Oct 27th, 2006, after a long battle with cancer.
The cache was donated by local cachers Strikeforce1 and
Skeeterbait2 as a raffle prize at the "Pub Night on The Erie
Barge Canal" event, with the proceeds donated to Steve and his
family to help out in their time of need.
Terrain is varied, with swampy areas and, during the summer, heavy
brush.
Please take a moment to remember him and his family in your
thgoughts and prayers.
Steve, I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
Although you have left us, you will live on in our hearts and memories.
