Look for an ammo can obscured by a few rocks at the base of a large cairn. No need to disassemble the cairn, just look around the base and you should find it.
Take a moment to appreciate the view before you leave. Strawberry Reservoir is clearly visible to the North West. Strawberry Peak is just across the canyon to the East, and is well worth a visit since it has 2 survey markers and an even better view.
This stash should be accessible via snowmobile during the winter. The wind usually keeps the snow down to less than a foot on this ridge. If you go via snowmobile, be careful and know what you are doing. This is a very remote area.
