I actually did quite a bit of reading about this character yesterday. My
impression is that he's an idiot.

Since I'm not making them, just telling people how to do so, I'd say
there's no basis for a lawsuit.

Is there some value in putting one on? I don't know. I've not put one on
my Garmin GPS12 yet, but I've never used it outside of my truck. It
would protect from scratches. I guess it depends on your anticipated
roughness with the unit.
