There are many new GPS configurations coming out soon. GeoDiscovery
(www.geodiscovery.com) has a module for the HandSpring Visor called the
Geode. Our own company (Qualcomm) has developed the chipset to add GPS to
the next generation of CDMA phones (read - Sprint) for 911 purposes, which
will hit the market in Japan next April, and the U.S. next October.
Hopefully they will have a display that's a lot better than the current WAP
phones, or it really will be restricted to 911.
