I like the idea - though I would like to know which state it's in.
Obviously situations like this make use of the GPS difficult, but still fit in with the spirit of the game - I'm assuming your GPS doesn't work underground. The cave itself is probably well marked so the coordinates of the entrance aren't neccesary.
