Lynn Woods is our first geocache. It's located in the Lynn Woods
Reservation about 12 miles northeast of Boston, in Lynn. Take the
Lynn exit for Rt. 129 East, exit 44B, off 128/95 and follow Rt 129
east for about 3 miles to a right turn onto Great Woods Road; there
will be a sign on right for Lynn Woods Reservation. Park in lot
adjacent to baseball fields (N 42 deg 29.590 W 070 deg 58.674 WGS-
84).

The entire reservation is crisscrossed with trails, so feel free to
explore (good mountain biking, too, April-Dec). The entire hike is
uphill along fire roads. As you near the goal, you'll reach an old
stone tower that provides panoramic views to the south and west.
Take a look at the view and enjoy!

The cache is a clear plastic 8"x6"x6" jar with a screw on yellow lid
and space is limited. There is a disposable camera inside – please
take a picture and note it in the photo log, in addition to your
personal comments page. Our homepage has an album of pictures from
the day we placed the cache, as well as trips to other caches we have
found. Check back for more pictures, as we will be checking back on
the cache fairly often.
