Re: [gpsstash] New features on Geocaching.com

Half the "tech team at Letterboxing.org" are on this list (and the
other half have already expressed a negative opinion of the idea),
so this seems as good a place as any to discuss something that affects
both hobbies, especially when we're talking about the content of the
web site that claims to be "The gpsstash page". What could be more
on-topic?

The topic _was_ brought up on this list, and this is where people who
are both geocachers and letterboxers live, and the letterboxing people
aren't talking about taking geocache coordinates and publishing them
on their web site. This is an enterprise being driven from the
geocaching community, so this is where it ought to be discussed until
we get a consensus in the geocache community that this is the direction
we wish to go.

There also seems to be opinion from geocachers who are not letterboxers on
this matter as well.

Cheers,
