Great idea in the forums...


I've been grappling with waypoint names, and an anonymous user on the boards
came up with a great solution. So there is now an "official" waypoint name
for each cache now, listed on each page.

If you want the technical, it's painfully simple. Convert the ID of the
cache (you see it in the Address window of your browser) to Hex, and append
"GC" at the front of it. As long as we have no more than 65,000 caches,
we'll be ok. Right now the cache waypoint names are all 5 characters long or
less...

On the seek page I'll also set up a converter so you can enter the waypoint
name and it'll point directly to the cache in question.
