RE: [gpsstash] New and looking for info

The eTrex is cool, but if you're looking for a little more bang, shoot for
the GPS12. Actually, I think the best value would probably be a Magellan
315. It's more a matter of preference after that. I have a Magellan 310
that I use right now, and although it's easy to use and simple, it doesn't
have mapping/tracking capability, so I'm looking to upgrade. In light of
the new eTrex units released, I'm probably going with the Vista, but it
won't be out til March so you're out of luck on that one.

Hi there,
A friend told me about Geocaching about a week ago and I am ready to
roll. I have already started to put together a cache. My only
problem is no GPS. I have seen you talk about the eTrex series, and
was wondering what is the best bang for the buck. I would like to
spend $100 to the $150 range(lower the better). What have you used,
what would you do different?

I would like to buy with in the next week or two. I will wait if
some of the new ones that are coming out are worth it.

Chris
