RE: [gpsstash] geocache database as a waypoint file?

I forgot to mention...the reason I would need some waypoint files is to
figure out the format of them. Then I could write a script to simply output
them. That's assuming that the waypoing files aren't some sort of compiled
binary data (that would be a pain).

If someone could get me some waypoint files, I could write the script pretty
easily (assuming I would have NT4/Win2k server and IIS to work with). I
work as an ASP programmer/analyst, so it wouldn't be much of a challenge I
don't think...

I was thinking it would be really cool if somebody could write a script that
could take the GeoCache database and provide a downloadable waypoint file
from
it. Imagine if you could do the standard geocache web searches by zip code,
state, country, etc. and then on the results page there was a pulldown to
select
your GPS type and a button to download a waypoint file you could load
directly
into your GPS. If you really wanted to make it slick, the user profile
could
remember what type GPS & software you use so that it gave you the proper
file
format without asking all the time. Anybody up to the programming
challenge?

Bob
