I had a thought. The new version of my eMap firmware upgrades this:
Allowed units to be manufactured with a new flash device.

Does that mean a new eMap is coming out, possibly with a nonproprietary
memory card? That would make life a hell of a lot easier. I was trying to
figure out a way to attach a Compact Flash card to the memory card slot, but
my lack of technical prowess has hindered me. when a 64mb CF card sells for
99.00 I think it'd be a useful upgrade. Any of you techie types know
anything about the future of GPS memory?
