also, if someone were to say, uh, travel/take a cross country trip,
downloadable stuff would be usefull in case some spontanous journey occurs.
if stuff gets out of date, and people are walking around with old waypoints
etc, its obviously their fault,not yours.

on the otherhand, most trips require some planning and taking 10-20min to
punch in a few waypoints really isn't a big deal.
in terms of what was said below though, how many caches can you visit in a
60 miles radius of where you live in one day? or one weekend? surely it
can't take more than 10min to punch them in. why do you need them all in
there at once anyway?

i can see both sides of the argument(s) for/against downloadable list..
