The real reason I quit geocaching is that the sport stagnated before its development could be completed. Now it is just irresponsible people doing irresponsible things.
Just look at all the negativity in this thread about Approach Codes, in most cases all that would be needed is something like 211d440m added to a cache description. This would indicate the location of a trailhead. Is this too much to ask?
I mean geocaching has already been banned from many locations because of its inherent approach problems. GPS's only guide you straight to your goal, they know nothing about staying on established trails. The people who banned the sport are not idiots like you may think. Soon I expect the entire sport will be banned worldwide!
