Keeping it Clean

Hi guys,

I went caching on the weekend and went to Australia's first cache in Lane Cove National Park. It was a great little adventure where we also had a picnic in the bush.

When we left we picked up rubbish from the surrounding area - I was amazed at how far into the bush rubbish manages to find it's way into.

I wonder how much rubbish we could all remove if we were to take about two kilos of rubbish each time we went caching. From my estimates, I will go caching about once a month (more often if I'm lucky), so that's 24 kilos of rubbish a year. Not much for one person, but imagine if we all did this. That'd be heaps!
