You don't need to backtrack. Just hide the cache first. Then walk to where
you want the next-to-last waypoint to be and leave a tag with the cache's
coordinates. Then walk to where you want the next-to-next-to-last waypoint
and leave a tag with the next-to-last waypoint. Repeat this until you get to
where you want the start of the multi-leg hunt to be.
