RE: [gpsstash] Geodashing Game 2 Announcement

Welcome to the idea of the Confluence project =)

Heh...there are a few times it took me a half hour to try and describe why I
wanted to go on some farmer's land to find this imaginary point.

They've always let me go, but maybe the reaction would have been different
if I had told them I was just playing a game instead of actually "working"
for a project. Who knows...

Either way, it still sounds fun. You can export the data, and then import
it into some waypoint management software, that makes it a little easier. A
clickable map would be the best idea though.

Maybe I'm lazy, but you need some way of organizing these points better. I
don't have time to sift through 483 waypoints to see which are ones I would
even attempt to go to.

The other thing I don't get is, if these are just random, thats going to
most likely put the majority of them on private property, right?

Game 2 of Geodashing has begun. It will run from August 1-31, 2001.

Game 2 has almost 500 waypoints, none over the ocean. This amounts to
approximately twice as many as in Game 1, which should increase the
chances
of one being really close to you.

About Geodashing: Geodashing is a variant of geocaching in which the
waypoints to be reached are randomly selected. Each game has a new set,
making each game completely different and unpredictable. The win goes to
who
gets there first or who can get there at all. For more information, visit
