I don't actually have the same software but the answeres are yes you can see
your track in real time on the laptop, yes you can create a route on the
laptop and download it into the gps to use it to navigate by, and yes you
can upload your gps tracks into the laptop and then turn them into stored
routes IF YOU HAVE THE INTERFACE CABLE.
