GeoPoker, anyone?

If you are driven to be first-to-find and know several other players
in your area with the same drive, check out GeoPoker at
http://poker.gpsgames.org . It's free and doesn't take much effort to
get started, but you can't play alone. It takes individual players to
set up and promote games in their local area.

GeoPoker is a GPS game in which players try to assemble the best
poker hand by being the first to find a moving container holding a
GeoPoker log. Each time the log is found, the finder should sign the
paper log and log his find online. In return, he is awarded one
playing card at random. The finder then moves the GeoPoker log to its
next hiding spot. The log will be moved 52 times. Fifty two hunts.
Fifty two first-to-finds. After all 52 cards have been "dealt", the
player with the best poker hand "wins."

The home page is at http://poker.gpsgames.org . There is also a
dedicated Yahoo Groups mailing list set up for comments and questions
( http://groups.yahoo.com/group/geopoker ).
