I'm not sure which version of the Oregon I've used. I own a Colorado, but have used a couple Oregon's while teaching people about the Wherigo cache type.
In my opinion, the Colorado has a slight edge on the Oregon performance/accuracy wise. On the other hand, data entry in the field is MUCH simpler on the Oregon (OR-Touch screen, CO-Spin the wheel, click the center button, repeat.......) The CO screen is easier to read in bright sunlight, and the OR seems to have a slight issue with the wherigo player, some cartridges that run just fine on the CO & emulator crash the OR.
The paperless caching features on both are just awesome.
